Luxus Arms Model 11 serial number 1. Outstanding in every possible respect, this single shot takedown includes barrels chambered for .22-250 Remington (26-inch) and .270 Winchester (24.5 inches). The action and both barrels are numbered "L01" while the grip cap formally presents the serial as a gold-engraved superscore to the completion date of "7/15/2011". Each light sporter barrel tapers to just .575-inch at the muzzle, incorporates a recessed crown and banded sling swivel stud, and is fitted with a petite scalloped quarter rib which accepts Talley rings. Bores are button rifled and lapped by hand. The action, with just five moving parts and the sleek "LT" bottom lever, is a marvel of efficient design. Finished in the most perfect satin rust blue, every aspect of the metal is flawless. For all that, it is the unequaled, sinister character of the exhibition Turkish walnut that stops your heart. Shot through with an impossible twisting of bold figure, a dozen or so haunting faces appear upon examination - the exact number depending on one's imagination. Forend and butt wear 24 lines-per-inch wrapped checkering with Mullered borders, an inletted sling swivel stud rides the toe line and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad is fitted as a finishing touch. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with the .270 Winchester barrel) is 6.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.5 inches. CONDITION: Absolutely new in every respect with but trace suggestions of handling.
