Excellent example of the very scarce Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer semi-automatic pistol in 38 ACP caliber. (Please note: This is not the same as .380 ACP!)
S/N 29770 made in 1912.
Retaining much of its lustrous high polish Blued finish with only light handling marks and surface wear.
The original checkered hard rubber grips are fantastic as well with no cracks or other damage and with good screws.
7 shot magazine with some oxidation, scratches and wear. All screw slots and pins appear new and untouched throughout.
The mechanical functions are all working smoothly and properly and the 4 1/2 in. barrel has a minty bore, bright and shiny with very strong rifling
With only 31,000 or so ever made, they can be quite difficult to find in this finer, untouched/unrestored condition.
