Remington UMC model 1911, Serial number 19420 very late production, made in 1919 just before the contract was cancelled by the US federal goverment. Excellent condtion, very Rare WW1 1911, less than 22,000 produced. Contract was awared to Remington UMC in Late December 1917 and production began in April 1918 at the Bridgeport plant that was making Mosin Nagant Rifles for the Russian Goverment. The contract was suspended in December 1918 with only a total of 21,513 guns produced. Nice condition seldom seen WW1 1911. Appears all original condtion, EEC proofed, the barrel is marked SP on side as it's a Springfield made post WW1 replacement as most are, bore is good. Correct two tone mag. Very late production almost certainly the last month of full production! Price is a very reasonable $4650 for the pistol, plus shipping and insurance.CC +3.5% fee. Of course C&R Eligiable!
