Marlin Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle 40-82 cal Bore Exc, Mech Exc, Wood VG some wear on comb and has a coat of old varnish, Has a 28” Oct barrel with full mag, excellent address cal marking and has original sights. The receiver has a partially visible marlin safety marking on top and has the Model 1895 marking on the top tang. The serial number is on the front bottom of the receiver #135448 Mfg’d 1896 . Metal has traces of fine pitting and the barrel has 75% original blue finish with the mag tube having a blue brown patina finish and the receiver has an aged grey patina finish. Has an original crescent buttplate.
