Description:
In my opinion, Colt got it just about perfect with this spec. Light, plenty of barrel but not too much, plenty of power, fills the hand without being bulky. This one has a lot of original finish, good screws besides minor marring of two grip frame screws, very clean cylinders. Action is factory tight, I don't think this one was shot much. Nice rubber grips. The bore is bright and sharp but does have some blotchy pits, oh well it was the blackpowder era. And the cylinder pin is a bit hard to extract, I cannot see why, but I had to use a copper coin to get it started. I can see why Billy the Kid liked these. Mfg 1904.,
