A premium precision gas rifle, the Patriot Ordnance Factory P-308 Revolution offers a lot of high-end specs you won't see in most AR-10 platforms. The rifle is finished in burnt bronze and is built with a full billet receiver set for extra strength. POF utilizes their own proprietary lower design to include a fully ambidextrous control set and accept most standard AR-15 triggers and safeties. This rifle includes the POF EFP (enhanced finger placement) trigger which sets the trigger more forward for a more controllable trigger pull and is extremely light and has a very short travel and reset. The Revolution is actually a short-stroke gas piston-operated system, not direct impingement like most other AR platforms. This is a system roughly similar to the HK 416/417, FN SCAR, and Sig Sauer 550-series and MCX. The gas piston design helps keep the action cleaner when suppressed and can enhance reliability when correctly tuned—which is made even easier with the adjustable gas block on this rifle. This rifle features a 1:10 twist 18.5" fluted nitride barrel—a barrel length typically reserved only for POF's LE/Mil customers—with an aggressive 3-port muzzle brake. The bolt carrier group is fully chromed and uses a roller bearing for the cam pin, reducing friction and decreasing wear. It also includes a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle, adjustable precision-style stock, and MFT pistol grip with a more vertical angle. The previous owner stenciled a US Marine Corp insignia on both sides of the lower receivers. This rifle includes one 20-round Magpul magazine and original hard case. 7.62 Nato
