This Highway Patrolman is in excellent condition. Unsure of manufacture date. Nickle plated with gold trigger, cylinder release and hammer. Not sure if nickle is original from factory. This particular model is very special as it was a gift for a retired officer. His name and birthdate are on the butt of the pistol on a commemorative plaque. The barrel is clean, clear and has a good bore. Cylinder nickle finish is fading a bit. Left side wood grip has a small section of varnish missing. Apart from that this revolver is a beauty. Cant go wrong with a Smith & Wesson revolver. Own a small piece of history. All information is correct to the best of our knowledge. Before making a purchase do your own due diligence.
