Remington Rand M1911 A1 .45ACP 1943 U.S. Property U.S. Army Marked Pistol with 5\" Barrel. Barrel is stamped F and P stamped. Left side of the Slide is stamped REMINGTON RAND INC SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A. Has a P stamp on top of the slide. Right side of the frame is stamped UNITED STATES PRORPERTY M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY and NO 158XXXX, with a U stamp on the bottom of the trigger gaurd next to the mag ejector button. There is a small faint engraving towards the end of the frame that says, SP-1562-88. The Left side of the frame is stamped FJA on tope of the trigger gaurd, with a P staming on the bottom of the trigger guard by the mag ejection button, as well as having a 6 stamp on the top left of the trigger guard. Has handling marks and finish is worn off as shown in the pictures. Good condition with typical wear consistent with military use and age of pistol.
