Payment Types Accepted: Description: The Nikko Firearms Company of Japan was a line of firearms made by the Kodensha plant in Tochigi, Japan between 1958-1989. This same plant also produced the Winchester 101 shotguns. So, it should be no surprise that the Nikko over-under shotguns—including this Model 5000—closely resemble the Winchester shotguns. This Model 5000 Grade I is a basic model over-under with a bright stainless steel receiver and blued barrel assembly and can be dated to 1976. The shotgun is chambered for 2 ¾" 12 gauge shells and features 26" barrels with a ventilated checkered rib and single brass bead. The furniture is a checkered hardwood with an oil-rubbed finish. The forend has a wider beavertail shape to it. The receiver and barrel assembly have some light decorative engravings adorning the gun. The Nikko 5000 has a single selectable trigger and utilizes ejectors. This shotgun is in generally good condition. The barrels are clean and free of pitting and corrosion. The rib is in good shape and finish on the metal is mostly intact, with some bluing wearing away on the bottom of the barrel assembly near the hinge. The stock is in good shape, with no damage and very few usage marks. The forend, however, does have one crack between the locking lever plate and the rear of the forend piece. This Nikko 5000-1 comes with a generic box. 12 Gauge Price: $779.99 Chambers: 2 3/4 Metal Condition: Good Wood Condition: Fair Bore Condition: Good Barrels: 26 Triggers: Single selectable Stock Dimensions: 14" LOP Fore End: Checkered hardwood Butt Pad: Plastic Weight: 6 lbs 12 oz Sights: Ventilated checkered rib with single brass bead Chokes: "Fixed modified choke (top), fixed improved cylinder (bottom) Item Location: Kearney, NE |
