Description:
The P49, or (Pistole) 49, from Sig is the military designation for the civilian pistol the P-210. It served the Swiss for about 20 years and was well-regarded as a sport shooter's pistol. It was used by many military and police departments, The serial number of this piece places manufacture in the late 60s. It features low profile sights, large controls, and lanyard loop. In the hand, it is mindful of the Browning HiPower pistol and is probably due to Browning having a hand in the design. Nice gun. 9mm Luger
