Sauer 404 Valhalla chambered in 9.3x62mm. Receiver is steel with silver nitride finish over an exquisite hand-engraved primary motif of Odin on his throne in Valhalla, flanked by two dogs representing Geri and Freki. Just behind is the secondary but equally stunning motif of the ravens, Hugin and Munin, perched on Odin's shoulders, representing his eyes and ears with reach to every corner of the world. The background of both motifs is inlaid yellow gold. The magazine floorplate shows Thor framed in gold and holding his hammer, drawn back to strike, his eyes appearing to look through rather than at you. The grip cap likewise frames Thor's hammer itself in gold, serpents' heads beneath, and a serpentine border surrounding. On the steel buttplate is the World Tree, or Yggdrasil, with a themed golden backdrop surrounded by serpents' heads, and serpentine border with gold-line edges. The bolt handle features a triquetra on a gold-inlaid backdrop immediately below a 360-degree band of checkering; above that is a serpentine border which points upward to more scrollwork on the bolt handle stem, with a gold-framed infinity symbol. 

The fluted barrel is matte-blued with gold-inlaid root adjacent to receiver. The open sights are affixed to engraved bases which have hand-stippled ramps to eliminate glare. Stock and forearm are of Wood Grade 11 Turkish walnut showing stunning figure and burl throughout. Wood finish is oil in a tasteful semi gloss.

As with all Sauer 404 rifles, this one is compatible with additional calibers through addition of barrels and, when needed, magazine(s) and bolt head(s). Factory quick-detach saddle scope mounts are available. Comes complete in factory upgraded leather case. SGR
