Description:
The Thompson Center Contender was introduced in 1967 as a single shot sporting arm which could be configured as either a rifle or pistol with the proper modifications and could easily withstand cartridges ranging in power from the .22 LR to the .45-70. This example of a contender pistol is in very good to excellent condition, with little overall wear. this pistol also comes with 2 barrels, the first being a .45LC/.410 barrel, with its included anti rotation choke for use with shotshells, as well as a .222 Remington barrel, a popular choice for target shooting and varmint hunting.
