Description:
For sale is a later production (1957) Model 1907 WSL semi-automatic Police or Riot version rifle. These are far more rare than the standard model and have distictive feature differences from them. Both the buttstock and forend are thicker and heavier duty. This helps particularly with inherent cracking of the forends in the standard models due to the impact stress of the blow-back semi-auto design. This rifle is also a semi-deluxe model with the checkering on the pistol grip and forend, both in very good condition. No splitting or cracking of the forend wood. Finish loss on the reciver and some on the 20" barrel, but no corrosion or pitting. Another improvement of this model is the curved end of the plunger rod for better grip when actioning the rifle. Only non-original component of this rifle is the aftermarket butt pad that replaced the factory textured steel butt plate. Comes with one (1) factory four-round magazine clip. Factory sling swivels.
