257XX serial number range. This gun appears to remain in all original and high condition considering its age. This revolver sports a 6" barrel (the factory letter has incorrectly stated it as a 6.5" barrel), still chambered in the original 44 Russian, original checkered wood grips. A copy of the factory letter accompanies this revolver as we well as an old leather holster. This revolver falls inside the serial number range of know revolvers that were shipped to the US Government Revenue Cutter Service also called the Coast Guard Model.
