Description:
This listing is for my Remington Model 700 rifle in 223 Remington caliber. It has 26 inch fluted stainless steel barrel and a synthetic black stock with gray inserts. In 2017, I saw this rifle in a local dealer’s showroom in a rack of used rifles and it caught my eye. I bought it and mounted a scope on it and sighted it in at our range. It is extremely accurate. I shot two or three boxes of shells through it and kept it available for the coyote that never came by! A while back, I took the scope off for use on my 243 (that I do shoot) and decided to sell this rifle. It is excellent throughout with an excellent bore. It had a rail type scope base on it when I got it, but I replaced that with a Leupold stainless one-piece base which is on the rifle now. (The rail base will also be included with the rifle.) The rifle comes complete with the Harris 1A bipod shown in the photos. Due to my age, I will probably never shoot this rifle again, so it needs someone who will use it.
