Description:
General Specs: Bernardelli, 1981, 28 Gauge, 6lbs. 2oz., Chokes IC/M, LOP 14 1/4″, DAH 2 9/16″, DAC 1 9/16″
Serial Number:  189375

Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this delightful V. Bernardelli Roma 28-gauge side by side, serial number 189375.  Not to be confused with Pietro Bernardelli (a lower cost/quality Italian gumaker with the similar name), Vincenzo Bernardelli was a gunmaker producing mid-to-high grade shotguns in the gun making valley of Gardone, Italy.  This shotgun was manufactured in 1981 and features a crisp single trigger, ejectors, hand chased scroll engraving over 90% of the action, sideplates, and fences with a hunting scene on the base plate. The action is Coin-finished, typical of high-end Italian guns and shows off the delicate engraving to its fullest. The wood is in new condition with no marks, 99% factory finish, and perfect hand cut checkering and excellent wood to metal fit.  The barrels retain 99.5% factory blue with jeweling on the water tables and barrel flats and tight on the hinge pin and breech face. The barrels are chromed lined and are choked .011 and .021, ideal for most upland game.  Adding to this shogun’s versatility is it’s easy to carry 6lbs. 2oz. weight.  Just in time for the upcoming upland season, the 28ga. has become the sportsman’s choice of small bore scatterguns. This is a handy and elegant gun that is ready for the field. See specifications below.  Thanks for looking.
