Description:
This is collage of 15 differnet knives that I've collected over many years. It hung in my office for nearly 20 years until I recently sold the business. These are not highly sought after artists, but are excellently crafted and are high-quality pieces that are very attractive in their present setting. Some are deifferent styles of damascus while others are plain highly polished steel. The handles include: fossilized red Mediterranean coral, mastodon ivory and teeth, ebony, gazel bones, birdseye maple, Turkish walnut, spalded maple, and antler.
Artists include: John Beth, John Lark, and R.L. Kessnick.
One handle is made with a very large piece of mastodon tooth that incircles the entire handle (see photo). Attractive rustic wood frame is 38" x 28".
