32697- HACKER MARTIN, APPOMATTOX, VIRGINIA PERCUSSION SINGLE SHOT .44 CALIBER KENTUCKY TARGET PISTOL CIRCA 1954-57. Made for the late Mr. V. V. Horney of Richmond, Virginia with accompanying family testimonial. 18”o/a with 12” octagon rifled barrel with nickel blade front and Long Rifle style rear sights. Characteristic Hacker Martin curly maple stock which he made and aged at his own mill in Appomattox, Virginia. Brass mounts and hickory ramrod. Classic Hacker hand rifled barrel with his distinctive 7 groove rifling. Excellent working order and bright bore. Mr. Horney states he had it made by Hacker between 1954-57 while he was working in Richmond at the hospital. $750.
