I HAVE ATTACHED A NEW ARTICLE SOMEONE SENT ME ON THESES HYDRO-COIL FOR MODEL 70s.This is a rare pre-64 hydro-coil that was made for a pre-64 model 70. They never went into production probably because most deer hunters shoot less then 5 rounds a year and mostly to sight in their rifles, as opposed to Skeet or Trap with a model 12. This stock is in excellent condition with only minor marks. The stock is wood but Winchester finished it with a plastic finish that matches the the plastic Hydro-coil. Although I cant guarantee it, I don't belive this stock has ever been on a gun and the hydro-coil does give tention and may still be working. You can see some of the finish residue inside the stock.
The last photo and article is the begining of Winchester's attempt to make a Hydro-Coil for a Model 70. I have the finsished product that was never actually sold on the market.
