This Caesar Guerini Revenant Sporting 20 gauge, EU Edition, is a like-new example of one of the company’s most striking modern over/unders. Built in 2024 and housed in its original leather-covered Negrini case with accessories and box, it features 32" vent-rib barrels chambered for 3" shells, fitted with a full set of seven extended Caesar Guerini choke tubes. The sideplated boxlock action incorporates a single selective trigger—available only on the EU Edition—along with ejectors, a non-automatic safety, and an adjustable trigger for a customizable length of pull, ranging from 15" and adaptable to the shooter. It weighs 7 lbs 9 oz, with a drop at comb of 1.5" and a drop at heel of 2.25". Sighting is via a vent-matted rib with silver mid-bead and white front bead.
The exhibition-grade walnut stock and forend are beautifully figured, with sharp checkering and a right-handed palm swell on the pistol grip. The profile is enhanced by a high-comb, racy stock line, a long trigger guard flowing into the grip, and a Boss-style forend with a winged forend iron and inletted escutcheon.
Engraving is the work of Bottega C. Giovanelli under the direction of master engraver Dario Cortini. The entire sideplated action is adorned with his original maple leaf and branch motif—an organic, hunting-themed design in place of traditional scrollwork. Both the left and right sides feature a scene, visible through the leaves, on the right four pheasants in flight, and the left 5 quail, while the motif continues seamlessly over the bottom and around the Boss-style forend.
Condition is like new, with bores that are clear, a crisp trigger, strong timed ejectors, and smooth, tight action. Mechanically perfect, this is not only one of the most visually distinctive Caesar Guerinis made, but also a highly functional sporting shotgun, delivering the performance of the Revenant line with the exclusivity of the EU configuration.
