This Caesar Guerini Magnus Jaspe 12 gauge, produced in 2003, is a beautifully finished, sideplated boxlock over/under built for both elegance and versatility. Chambered for 3" shells, it wears 30" vent-rib barrels and comes with a full set of five Caesar Guerini choke tubes and choke key, allowing it to adapt easily to a variety of game and clay target situations. The action features a single selective trigger, timed ejectors, and a non-automatic safety. Weighing 7 lbs 6 oz, it measures 1.5" drop at comb, 2.25" drop at heel, and 14.75" length of pull to a Kick-EEZ recoil pad. A red fiber optic front bead rides atop the vent-matted rib for quick sight acquisition.
The case-colored action retains about 95% of its original finish, with tasteful gold inlay accents—on the left, a pheasant flying from a cornfield, and on the right, a duck settling into cattails—both framed by the clean lines of the Jaspe design. The blued barrels remain in excellent shape, holding about 98% of their original blue.
Stocked in well-figured walnut, the gun features a schnabel forend and sharp checkering on the round-knob pistol grip and forend. Wood shows only the faintest handling marks, consistent with careful use. The gun is cased in its original Caesar Guerini-marked Negrini hard case, with a dedicated case for the choke tubes and included choke key.
