This Caesar Guerini Summit Ascent 12 gauge, produced in 2013, is a purpose-built competition over/under designed for adjustability, balance, and durability. It features 32" vent-rib barrels chambered for 2.75" shells and fitted with a full set of seven Maxischoke Competition choke tubes plus choke key. The action is equipped with a single selective, adjustable-position trigger, non-automatic safety, and timed ejectors. Length of pull is adjustable from 14.375" to 14.875", with an adjustable comb allowing fine-tuning of drop and cast to suit the shooter. Weight is 8 lbs 9 oz, with a drop at Monte Carlo comb of 1.75" and a drop at heel of 2.25". Sighting is through a vent-matted rib with silver mid-bead and red fiber optic front bead.
The “funeral style” action is finished entirely in black, accented with gold inlay: “Caesar Guerini” on each side framed by scroll motifs, and “Summit” in gold on the underside, also flanked by scrollwork. The action retains 99% of its original finish, and the blued barrels likewise retain 98% of their original luster.
Stocked in well-figured walnut, the gun has a right-handed palm swell, sharp checkering on the pistol grip and forend, and an adjustable comb for perfect fit. The stock and forend display only light handling marks consistent with careful use.
Condition is very good overall, with bores clear, ejectors strong and in-time, and the trigger crisp and mechanically sound. Included is the original Caesar Guerini/Negrini hard case with choke tubes, manual, stock wrench, and spare recoil pad—making this an ideal competition-ready package for the serious clay shooter.
