Description:
Colt Model 1909 revolver that was issued to the US Army. This gun is marked "Colt D.A. 45" on the left side of the barrel and "United States Property" on the underside of the barrel. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. / PAT'D AUG. 5, 1884. JUNE 5, 1900. JULY 4. 1905". The rear left side of the frame is marked with a rampant Colt logo. The left side of the frame above the cylinder is marked "FB" and the rear of the frame is marked "R.A.C." (Rinaldo A. Carr). "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1909/No/41/869" marked on the butt with an attached lanyard ring. The crane cut is marked "41869 / 5". The crane is marked "41869". The bottom of the left grip is marked "R.A.C." on the butt. .45 Colt
