Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .22 Remington Auto ammunition manufactured by Western with 45 grain Lubaloy coated bullets as part of the 1931 "Bullseye" Non-Corrosive "Lubaloy" issues. This is among the scarcest of the Western "Bullseye" 22 boxes as this was production for only one rifle the Model 16 Remington semi-auto rifle. The one piece box has excellent bright graphics featuring the very desirable target bullseye logo. The box is in excellent condition as are the cartridges. Identified as WCC-4.4 RA-1(c) in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference. A very high condition box with the desirable graphics in a rare caliber.
