Description:
Serial #BEH0116, .32 H&R Magnum, 6" full lug barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1990-made revolver that has retained almost all of the original blued finish, with only a very mild turn-ring on the cylinder attesting to any use. Likewise, the target trigger and target hammer have a commensurate amount of the original color case-hardening remaining, and the smooth finger-groove S&W medallion grips are also in almost unused condition with no real handling marks or blemishes on either panel. The revolver is housed in its original serial numbered, one-piece box with instruction sheet, cleaning rod, bore brush, bore mop, and screwdriver. Interestingly, the butt was originally stamped with a different serial number and traces of that first number can still be seen where it was removed and the correct number stamped over it prior to the blued finish being applied (the overstamp matches the serial number inside the yoke cut and on the box label). This is a highly desirable Model 16-4 S&W, in little-used original condition, with an unusual factory marking error. FFL
