Wonderful W&F Bern Commercial K31 with Grunig & Elmiger front and rear diopter sights adorned with competitive shooting stickers.
Description:
Standard configuration K31 with top grade Grunig & Elmiger front and rear diopter sights. The left side of the plum toned receiver is marked with a “P” prefix, in-the-white, as typical for a commercially selected firearm. The commercial selection is further supported by the right side of the nicely grained buttstock that has no military acceptance. Matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, and bolt. The magazine “889671”. Original finish walnut stock. Fitted with military sling dated “54”. Several stickers on forend referencing a match in Zurich and another dated 2003.
Condition:
EXC metal. Sights are near new. The body of the front sight having a layer of tape on the crest for protection when racked. The original finish stock with scattered handling marks as one might expect from a match rifle that was used in a number of competitions. Mirror bore with strong rifling. Correct manual mechanics. G sling. An extremely attractive Commercial K31 with top match-quality diopter sights and nicely grained buttstock.
