If you want perhaps the most handsome and elegant American-made big game rifles this Dakota Model 10 is it! It was built with highly figured walnut and case colored receiver, lever and grip cap. Wears a Leupold Ultralight scope (2X7X28mm) set in 1 inch Talley rings and bases. The 23 inch barrel has an excellent bore. The only non-factory modification is a length-of-pull of 14" to a soft Pachmayr pad... an acceptible alteration to such a light weight rifle at 7.25 lbs.scoped. A half dozen storage marks in butt, with none breaking the finish or larger than an eyelash.. The matte barrel blue is perfect. The case color is gorgeous but could maybe be even more eye-catching with a judicious lacquer application. I've owned the gun for about 15 years, but never hunted with it. It will be boxed in a plastic hard case and shipped from a non-FFL to your FFL, with shipping/inurance paid by buyer with your preferred carrier and coverage. What a classy way to put some venison, pronghorn or wild pork on the table or hang a pelt on the wall! More pictures if requested.
