Description:
Offered is a very nice Colt SAA revolver from Early Smookless Powder Series.  The gun is  a 38WCF caliber (38-40) with a 7 1/2" barrel,  and early two piece hard rubber grips.  The serial number is 186990 and is correctly marked on the Frame, Triger guard and the bottom of the Butt. The gun is in exceptional condition retaining 40% of the original blue on the barrel and with no rust or pitting over the entire surface of the gun.  The barrel is bright and shiny as are the cylinder chanbers.  The screws are in excellent condidtion, the gun retains all its parts and operates perfectly.  The trigger provides the standard 4 click operation with no slack or loosness in its operation.  The cyllinder is tight with no slack.
Overall  this is an exceptional SAA in a caliber that was only produced in 12% of all the SAA revolvers manufactured by Colt.  It would make a very nice addition to any Colt Collection.
