Payment Types Accepted: USPS money order Description: Offered from my personal collection is a very low 6-digit serial # Inland M1 Carbine. This early production carbine , serial #135147, has the correct 12-42 dated Inland barrel with an ME measuring a modest 2 on my gauge. All of the metal parts are correct Inland parts including a type 2 trigger housing, GI marked dogleg hammer with a correct 22 coil hammer spring, type1 checkered safety, type 2a WI mag catch, first type trigger housing pin w/ spring, AI marked type 2 bolt, type 2 slide marked with a circled  PI,  UI /UI marked type 1 barrel band, type 1 flip sight marked S, and a type 2 unmarked recoil plate. Stock is a very good condition walnut type 2 Inland highwood marked IO in the sling well, a circled P proof on the bottom of the pistol grip, and a large cross cannon acceptance mark on the right buttstock. The 2 rivet handguard is also marked IO. There are no cracks or gouges in the wood, just light handling marks. There are no import marks on this firearm. This is an excellent example of an early production Inland carbine that requires only standard maintenance to provide another 80 years of service.
