Inspections for returns must be done at FFL before leaving the premises. Returns require the gun in the exact same condition as it left the Seller. Revolvers should not be dry fired multiple times during inspection to avoid deeper turn lines on collectible guns.

Here rom my private collection is a rare "show piece" and hard to find in this condition! It is a beautiful blued 1979 Colt 2-1/2 inch Python "snubbie" and appears as unfired LNIB. I have a hard time saying anything is rated 100% but I feel comfortable rating this one at 99.999% It has the original labeled Colt box with docs included. It even has the original plastic bag the gun was in when oiled and shipped! The serial number on the label was blocked only in the photo for security. I tried to wipe the gun lightly with microfiber before taking photos but there may be evidence of a smudge or spot of oil somewhere in pictures but don't let that fool you. This one looks FAR BETTER than even the new ones produced this month!! Only serious buyers please and no lowball offers. If you want to save some off the price, I can put the perfect "like new" Colt Walnut Service grips with gold medallions back on the gun as it came from Colt and I keep the custom Sambar Stag grips with Colt medallions and it will bring the price down to $4950 plus shipping.
NOTE: The gun should be fully inspected in front of your FFL to be sure you want it before accepting the gun. There will be no option for returns if you leave the presence of your FFL and take the gun from the store. Please call me during inspection if you are not satisfied.If you inspect it and decide it is not as described then a return can be accepted if the gun is still in the exact condition with all accessories included as it was shipped. Shipping costs and FFL fees are not refunded. No dry firing a museum piece like this one. Do not open and close the cylinder multiple times (creates a drag line on the cylinder) unless you know how without creating a mark on the cylinder. THERE IS NOT A MARK ON THIS CYLINDER RIGHT NOW. This is one I don't mind keeping longer if it doesn't sell becasue I have plenty of other handguns I can sell to minimize my collection before I pass away.
If you plan to fire any firearm of this age, especialy in this condition, it is advised you have a gunsmith inpect the gun after you accept it. No warranties expressed or implied.
