Description:
This S&W model 1006 is in approximately 98% overall condition. It features an adjustable rear sight, the traditional DA/SA fire control system, a spurless & serrated hammer-for snag free carry, an ambidextrous safety/decocking lever, and 4 factory 9-round magazines. Sadly, I have no idea what became of the factory box & manual. The manual can be downloaded from the internet.
I acquired this pistol a good many years ago from my fried and fellow FFL holder who was a serious 10mm collector. This is one of my personal firearms, and they are all meticulously maintained. Lightly used, I would guess no more than several hundred rounds fired through it. I have taken both deer and feral hogs with the gun, and it has devastating performance with Winchester Ranger 180gr loads. Any questions, feel free to ask. One might also keep in mind that these factory magazines sell for between $150 to $200 each, when available. Every listing I've seen comes with one mag. This one comes with four! The only reason this pistol is for sale is that, for some silly reason, I have fallen completely in lust of one of the Sig P220 two-tone pistols in 10mm. I've had several in inventory, let them slip away, and now they are stupidly difficult to find...
