Description:
Cased w tools, straps, and Indian customs receipt dated 1913, as well as a newpaper clipping reporting a tiger on the loose! 30"x2 1/2" NP steel barrels with mirror bores, choked IC and Mod, walls .028 and .027, in a period fitted leather case. Lockplates have been rust blued as have the barrels, but they will need a redo as there is splotchy cold blue toward the muzzles. Wood is sound and not badly worn or oil soaked, chip missing from forend and near the toe. LOP 15 1/4" through a checkered butt, drops 1 1/2" and 2 1/4", cast off circa 3/8". Suprisingly tight. Made in 1911 and reeks of colonialism. I love that smell.
