Description:
Up for sale is this scarce model NR SKS. A total of 12860 with the 94 serial were made. That may sound like a lot but consider millions of Chinese \Norinco SKS were made, these are not common. Interestingly one mag acts as a hold open with the last round and the other 2 do not. This appears to be a design of the mag. All 3 mags are 20 round capacity and are NOT duckbill type. These SKS are designed to take Chinese metal magazines. There are no cracks or splits to the wood. It has been stripped and cleaned. I did notice a few interesting things. The rear sight appears to be Russian. The base of the front sight around the barrel seems rough. These were some of the last SKS to be imported before the ban and I think they were in a rush to just use anything available and get them shipped. The rifle cycles properly.
