All firearms are IN ORIGINAL CONDITION and HAVE NOT BEEN REFINISHED. Description: This is a Colt M1911A1 U.S. Army, manufactured in 1943, with G.H.D. inspector mark (Lt. Col. Guy H. Drewry). Features include: – Fixed blade front and notch rear sights – Barrel marked "S" and "COLT 45 AUTO" – Two-line, two-block Colt address and patent dates with Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide – Checkered thumb safety, shortened spur hammer, stamped short trigger, slide catch – Arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop – Left frame marked "G.H.D." inspector stamp, "P," and "triangle VP" on the trigger guard – Right frame has ordnance wheel, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY," model marking and serial number – Brown Coltwood grips, checkered, numbered "1" under the left panel and “12” under the right grip. – Boyt M1916 brown leather flap holster ("U.S." embossed), WWII US marked Enger & Kress tanker holster – soldier name written inside (William C Perry – carried in Korea as well) – Original C-R (Colt-Risden) marked magazine Condition: Excellent overall; retains 98%+ original parkerized finish with only minor edge and cycling wear. Grips are crisp with sharp checkering. Both Holsters are in excellent shape, showing light wear consistent with age but extremely well-preserved. We included a screen shot of Colt WWII SN Rare opportunity to own a premium WWII-era Colt 1911A1 with the right markings, original finish, and two outstanding period-correct holsters.
