This Big Horn Armory Model 90A “Spikedriver” in .454 Casull is a factory-new, exhibition grade example of the company’s modern American lever-action rifle. Built in Cody, Wyoming, in 2025, it represents the blend of classic Model 86/92 styling with modern CNC machining and heavy-duty engineering.
It features a 22" octagonal barrel with a 1:32" twist and recessed crown, paired with a Skinner aperture rear sight and post front sight. The action is Big Horn’s own 90A receiver, machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in hunter matte black. The large curved lever is designed for easy operation, even with gloved hands, making it particularly well-suited for hunting. Capacity is six rounds in the tubular magazine.
A major upgrade on this rifle is the $2,000 factory exhibition-grade walnut stock and forend, with striking figure, mineral streaks, and fine 20-LPI checkering. The stock is hand oil finished, fitted with a one-inch recoil pad, and equipped with integral sling studs front and rear. Length of pull is 13.625". Weight is 8 lbs 12.7 oz, giving the rifle solid balance and recoil absorption without compromising handling.
Condition is factory new in box with paperwork. The action is smooth, the trigger is crisp, and the rifle is mechanically perfect.
