"Serial No. 39724, made in 1940, 8mm, 29" round barrel. Bore is good with light storage grease still present in the grooves; rifling remains strong. Serial numbers are matching except for the bolt. Metal shows a light grey patina, with Turkish crest and markings on the receiver remaining visible. Stock has been lightly refurbished with some arsenal repairs noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid example of a wartime M1938, reflecting typical Turkish rework characteristics.
