Description:
For sale we have a Heym model 88B Sidelock Double Rifle in .375 H&H Magnum. This rifle features a checkered pistol grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece, horn gripcap, and brown Old English pad 14-3/8" LOP. The receiver is a sidelock model with hand detachable sideplates, coin finished with some light discoloration, fine scroll engraving and makers name, double triggers with blued trigger guard, and tang safety. The gun has 25" barrels with solid rib, gold inlays around breech, 4-leaf express sights, and double claw mounts with a Kahles scope. Bores have strong rifling; the rifle chambers standard belted 375 rounds, and has ejectors. Forend is semi-beavertail with finc checkering and engraved forend metal. The gun has a few light marks in the bluing, and some light handling marks in the wood, but remains in very good overall condition. Scope optics are bright and clear.
