Description:
Manufactured by Ubert / Western Arms Corp. of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Even though it is marked .54 caliber , it is believed that it was actually a .53 caliber. This percussion black powder rifle commemorates the legacy of Jedediah Smith (1799-1831) and is numbered 328 of 1000. Uberti made 1000 copies. No FFL required. appears to be in good condition with a brown finish on the barrel and butt-plate, while the trigger guard, and lock plate has a color case harden finish. This rifle also features a 32" octagon barrel, buck horn rear sight, double set triggers and walnut stock with cheek piece.
