This Colt New Service revolver is chambered in .45 Colt and features a 5.5\" barrel. Based on its serial number (319592), it was manufactured in the 1920s. The revolver shows honest age and use with worn bluing, scratches on the frame and barrel, and moderate wear to the grips. There is visible finish wear on the trigger, trigger guard, and hammer, consistent with handling over time. The action functions smoothly, and overall this remains a solid example of Colt’s legendary large-frame service revolver. The New Service was a popular choice among military and law enforcement in the early 20th century and is now highly collectible.
