"Serial No. 12055m, manufactured in 1952 at the Ishapore Rifle Factory, .303 British, 25.2" round barrel with an excellent bore. Serial numbers are matching; magazine is unmarked. Copper wire wrapping is present around the stock in two places. Stock shows light handling impressions. Includes a cup-style grenade launcher. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A well-preserved example of a wire-wrapped grenade-launching SMLE, produced for post-war service.
