"Original WW1 German M1898/05 bayonet marked on the ricasso by the maker FICHTEL & SACHS SCHWEINFURT with proof marks and “15" on the spine. 14.5" blade with original wood scales and metal sheath marked “154" on the mouth with no leather frog. Commonly called the “butcher blade" because of the shape of the blade this is the later variation of the saw back bayonet. Overall in very good solid condition with normal wear.
