Description:
This is a super gun. Originally made in flint by famed Austrian gunmaker Anton Pell who worked out of Linz in the late 1700's to early 1800's. This gun was at some point converted to percussion during its period of use. Extremely well done, utilizing the original frizzen spring for use with a nipple protector type safety. Well marked in silver on the top of the barrel ANTON PELL. The lock retains some case dcolors. Fine mechanical function. Brass mounted. Roughly .45 caliber with heavy rifling. 6 1/2 inch octagon barrel. Relief carved behind the barrel tang. The butt is very thin. Unfortunately, there is some wood loss on this gun that should make for a fun project. Most likely also had a brass ramrod guide as well which is missing. The whole gun measures 12 inches long overall. This is a super nice gun that needs some wood work.

We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required. There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws.
