Description:
Bacons "Navy Model" was made in the 1862, and is a LARGE frame Civil War period .38 rimfire, six shot, with a 7-1/2" octagonal barrel.
This is the (First type) made in Norwich, Connecticut, by C.W. Hopkins. This model is presumed the scarcest of the large frame Bacon"Navy Models".  This revolver has a beautiful brown patina, engraved frame, Walnut grips,  and is mechanically excellent.
