Description:
Winchester Model 1886 in 45-90 WCF manufactured in 1893 with a 26" octagon barrel and a full length magazine. The bore is excellent, at least a 9/10. Bright and shiny with no pitting. Winchester #21 sporting front sight and Winchester #22E rear sight. Reciever, lever, and hammer retain approximately 45% muted case colors. Crescent buttplate with mottled patina. Barrel and magazine retain 88% strong blue with some fading. Both forend and buttstock remain solid without cracks or repairs. Minor scuffs and dings.
This rifle shows use but not abuse. It is all original and remains in overall very good condition with an excellent bore. It undoubtedly would shoot well. 9lb 4oz of John Moses Browning's finest lever action accomplishment!
