This is a very good condition Springfield 1884 for sale chambered in 45-70 caliber. The barrel length is 32 5/8 inches long and this was manufactured about 1889. The bore is in good condition with a lot of frost and rifling still is visible. The finish on the barrel and receiver are in good condition with a lot of finish present, but mostly patina. The stock is in overall great shape with minor handling wear. The ramrod bayonet has a flat head. The recoil plate is US marked in good shape with normal wear. Functionally this gun works very well.
