We are offering for sale a 1954 MARLIN Model 336 lever action rifle chambered in ..30-30 caliber. This is a Straight Stock example known as the "TEXAN" This vintage rifle remains in good to very good condition with light handling, field wear.
20" "JM" marked barrel is very good with blued finish showing light agewear. The bore is bright with crisp riflig. Front sight intact; Rear sight removed (not included). Receiver is very good with light handling wear; The receiver has been fitted with a "SKINNER ALASKAN" peep sight. Lever action functions flawlessly. The shoulder stock and forend are very good with very light field wear; No breaks or cracks noted. Plastic buttplate is fair with heel chip.
