This matched pair of Perazzi SCO/C 20-gauge over/unders, built in 2004, exemplifies the very best of Italian gunmaking. Both are configured with 30" solid-rib barrels chambered for 2.75" shells, choked light modified (.017") and modified (.023"), providing versatility for field or clays. The actions are sideplated with non-detachable trigger groups, fitted with gold single selective triggers, auto-safeties, and timed ejectors. Each gun weighs 6 lbs 15.5 oz and shares identical dimensions: 1.5" drop at comb, 1.75" drop at heel, and a 14.5" length of pull to a checkered butt with buffalo horn heel and toe clips. The sighting plane is a matted vent rib with silver front bead.
The coin-finished sideplated actions display approximately 95% coverage of exquisite engraving, executed in Perazzi pattern No. 335 and signed “RI PA” by the engraver at the trigger guard. The engraving blends intricate scroll with delicate game scene motifs, enhancing the elegance of the pair while reflecting Perazzi’s longstanding reputation for artistry and precision.
Stocked in deluxe walnut with strong figure, the guns feature round-knob pistol grips and matching forends. Each stock carries a blank gold initial oval near the toe, and the sharp checkering remains crisp throughout. The buffalo horn heel and toe clips on the checkered butts are another seldomly seen refined touch that highlights the bespoke nature of these guns.
Condition is excellent, with only the faintest evidence of careful handling. Bores are clear, triggers are crisp, ejectors are strong and in-time, and both actions lock up smoothly and tightly. Both barrels and actions retain nearly all of their original finish.
The pair is cased together in a fitted Perazzi leather case, complete with paperwork and a stock wrench.
