Description:
A very rare early production carbine length Griffin and Howe built in .30-06 caliber on a Mauser Action. Gun is beautifully engraved, probably the work of master engravers Rudolph Kornbrath. Richly figured original stock with Schnabel tipped fore grip, beaded cheek piece, and well checkered. Floor plate is nicely scroll engraved and trigger guard with relief Antelope as seen in the photos. Checkered steel buttplate is also nicely scroll engraved. Mounted with a Lyman Adjustable sight.
Gun remains in fantastic high original condition with nearly all finishes from Griffin and Howe. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are perfect.
This is a very rare carbine length Griffin & Howe. As a very early gun, it is extremely difficult to replicate! A fantastic gun for the G&H collector. Priced at $9950 plus shipping to your FFL.
