Description:
Oberndorf Mauser Type B 9X57 Commercial Sporting Rifle manufactured in 1929 with 24" round barrel with ramp front sight missing hood, banded sling swivel stud, and tangent rear sight. Very good bore. Pear shaped bolt knob. Lever release floorplate with locking screws on action screws. Single trigger. Pistol grip buttstock with replacement horn grip cap. Pancake cheekpiece. Schnauble forend tip. Checkered grip. 14 3/8" LOP to factory serrated buttplate. Weighs 6lb 130z. All small parts and stock correctly serial numbered. Blue at 85% with some areas turning patina. Stock finish at 80% with a few scuffs and dings. Checkering at 90% Overall a nice example of the finest factory sporting rifle ever made. 95 years old and going strong.
