Gorgeous and rare Model 70 Featherweight Supergrade in the classic and highly desirable 257 Roberts chambering. Pre-'64 style action. Original owner. Stunning feather crotch walnut in the stock capped off by a mahogany tip on the forearm. Deep luster polished blued finish topped off by a matching gloss finished black Leupold 3-9x40 VX-II scope held in place by 2-piece Leupold rings. Engine turned bolt. Factory red Decelerator recoil pad. It is perfect, there is not one mark, dent, ding, or scratch on it. This rifle is U.S. made as these were manufactured at the FN Herstal (Browning) plant in Columbia, SC before production was moved to Portugal. It exudes typical high quality Herstal fit and finish. If the new owner desired, a blank Model 70 floorplate could be installed if the Cabela's logo and script are too much for a "purist". Not only beautiful, this rifle is sub-MOA accurate.
